Raceway Woods Poster
This is a design I created while working for Kane County Forest Preserve in the Summer of 2026. The purpose of this project was to create a poster that could be displayed or posted online that advertises Raceway Woods Forest Preserve.
Poster Size (24’’ x 36’’) Draft 1 & 2
After the praise I recieved from my previous poster of the Fabyan Windmill, I was asked to work on more posters in the same style for our different preserves. As I did for the Windmill poster, the design is based on the vintage national park posters. After a few initial drafts, I created a few variations based on feedback I recieved from my supervisors regarding the title and subtitles. I was tasked with adding more informational details about the preserve itself to better advertise what the unique features of the preserve.
Poster Size (24’’ x 36’’) Final
The final design of the poster features the informational details that were suggested during the draft phase. I also removed the “Visit” title to create more of a clean look for the poster and give space for the “FOREST PRESERVE” title.
Flyer Size (8.5’’ x 11’’) Final
Once the final design of the poster size was created, I used it as a base to create the 8.5’’ x 11’’ design. This 8.5’’ x 11’’ flyer size was designed to be used for printing and advertising online.
