LeRoy Oakes Poster
These are posters that I created while working for Kane County Forest Preserve in the Summer of 2026. The purpose of this project was to create a poster that could be displayed or posted online that advertises LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, and the preserve’s main feature, the Creek Bend Nature Center.
Poster Size (24’’ x 36’’)
For this poster, I followed a similar technique that I used for my other National Park-style posters that I made for other preserves. Compared to other posters, however, this one required a lot of precise detail in the building’s architecture that wasn’t present for the other posters. Details such as the rough cracks in the bricked pillars, and the intricate details of the sign.
Post Size (8.5’’ x 11’’)
Just as I did for the other posters, I also created a smaller size that could used for social media posts, and printing. To comensate for the reduced size, I increased the size of the QR code and logo, so they are easier to see.
Creek Bend Poster
Poster Size (24’’ x 36’’)
For the Creek Bend poster, I adjusted the title to include additional details about the hours of the building and admission cost, to better serve the purpose of advertising. I also included the address of the building to also suit this purpose.
