Ogden Shirt
This is a t-shirt design I made for my brother’s birthday in May of 2023. Like me, he also worked at Classic Cinemas. The theater he worked at closed down a few years ago, so I made him this t-shirt to honor its memory.
I chose to give the design a patchy, rustic feel to show the degradation of the theater. I chose the brown and tan colors to represent the building’s real world colors as well as the Ogden 6 logo itself. Lastly, the text color and size was very intentionally chosen. Going from the top text to the bottom text, the text gets smaller as it goes down. This was not only done for the natural flow of important information with the top text being most important, but also to show the degradation of the theater, becoming smaller and smaller. Similarly, the text colors also get darker and darker the further down the page that they are, to represent this degradation.
