2D Graphic Work

Below are 2D graphic projects I’ve worked on in classes or projects I’ve made in my own free time for myself or others.

2 Letter Poster

This is a poster I designed for a project in my Introduction to Graphic Design class in October 2024. The goal of the project was to first combine a letter and a number, both of which need to be different typefaces, and put them together to create an abstract shape. However, it must be done in such a way that both are still recognizable as their own respective letterforms. Then we needed to show the combination alongside the individual letterforms used, the goal of the project, the fonts used, and a fact about the fonts. I chose to create the poster to appear like a playing card as I thought the two letterforms could serve well as the cornered card values.

Ogden T-Shirt Design

This is a t-shirt design I made for my brother’s birthday in May of 2023. Like me, he also worked at Classic Cinemas. The theater he worked at closed down a few years ago, so I made him this t-shirt to honor its memory.

Swedish Steve YouTube Banner

This is a YouTube banner I made for my friend, Steven, in December of 2024. He had been thinking about rebranding his channel from his previous name of “Seven Even Steven” to “Swedish Steve”. I requested to help him out by making him a new channel banner to strengthen the transition and his brand image. He primarily makes gaming videos and had an anime theme to his previous banner, so I used these as inspiration when creating the work.

Tea Tree Creative Sample - Coupon

This is a mock-up of a coupon that I made for my integrated marketing and communications class in the spring semester of 2025. The purpose of this project was to create examples of what various promotional materials might look like for our assigned companies. I was assigned the company, The Tea Tree, a small tea and oil shop in Batavia, Illinois. To make this design, I tried to keep their pre-established aesthetic and brand image in mind by basing the design on material made by the company through their website and social media. Of the three designs that I made, I think I did this one the best in these aspects.

Tea Tree Creative Sample - Cinema Sponsorship

What you see above is a mock-up of a cinema advertisement that I made for my integrated marketing and communications class in the spring semester of 2025. The purpose of this project was to create examples of what various promotional materials might look like for our assigned companies. I was assigned the company, The Tea Tree, a small tea and oil shop in Batavia, Illinois. To make this design, I tried to create something along the lines of a “please silence your cell phone” style ad that you would see before a film at the theater. Furthermore, I based the graphics on the Emagine theater’s designs, as I found it commonplace that cinemas create their own template for these sponsored segments. I chose the Emagine theater chain, as there is one in Batavia where The Tea Tree is located.

Tea Tree Creative Sample - Menu Catalog

This is a mock-up of a menu catalog that I made for my integrated marketing and communications class in the spring semester of 2025. The purpose of this project was to create examples of what various promotional materials might look like for our assigned companies. I was assigned the company, The Tea Tree, a small tea and oil shop in Batavia, Illinois. This would be the cover of a menu catalog that would be sent via the mail, displaying different products and prices from The Tea Tree. To make this design, I tried to capture the pre-established aesthetic and brand image of The Tea Tree, as shown on their website and social media posts.

2024 Election Results by Gender Poster

This is a poster I designed for a class project in my Introduction to Graphic Design class in November 2024. The goal of this project was to create a collection of 3 posters showing statistics from the 2024 election without showing bias and with a clear American identity. I chose to make the poster in a minimalist style with only the most vital instances of color and patriotic iconography to get the message across to the viewer without distracting from the information being given.

2024 Election Results by Belief Poster

This is another poster I designed for a class project in my Introduction to Graphic Design class in November 2024. The goal of this project was to create a collection of 3 posters showing statistics from the 2024 election without showing bias and with a clear American identity. I chose to make the poster in a minimalist style with only the most vital instances of color and patriotic iconography to get the message across to the viewer without distracting from the information being given.

Zoo Symbol

A symbol I designed for a class project in my Introduction to Graphic Design class in October 2024. The goal of the project was to make a symbol for an animal that would fit into the symbol system of the old Washington D.C. National Zoo symbols.

Zoo Symbol Poster

A poster I designed for a class project in my Introduction to Graphic Design class in November of 2024. The goal of the project was to show the process behind the creation of the zoo symbol that I had made in a previous project. I also needed to include information about the chosen animal, the armored rat, and create a catchy headline.
