Stop-Motion - Play-Doh
This is a video I made for my Special Effects and Motion Graphics class in early 2023. The goal of this assignment was to create a stop-motion animated video that was roughly 30 seconds long using Adobe After Effects.
This video was also selected to be featured in the 2023 Skyway Exhibition at Morton College.
Play-Doh
Because I had already made a few stop-motion videos before hand, I was already pretty familar with the process of stop-motion when I was given this assignment. This made the overall experience a lot easier as I knew what to expect going into it. I knew that the amount of frames something spends moving will directly correlate to how fast or slow it moves. I also had an easier time editing as I knew roughly how fast the animation should play for it to look smooth.
